Stage 2
Learner
For those with a few drives under their belt, we can help you begin to extend your skills. As you progress, we are able to teach you the following:
- Make left turns
- Entering/exiting roundabouts
- U-Turns
- Parallel parking
- Understanding and obeying “Give Way” and “STOP” signs
- Lane changes/head turns
- 3 point turns
- 45-Degree and 90-Degree parking
Stage 1
Learner
Our instructors cater for complete beginners, so if you are getting behind the wheel for the first time, there is nothing to fear. We’ll take you through all the basics, ensuring you feel comfortable from the very first time you start the car. We’ll teach you how to:
- Start the car
- Operate the controls
- Use mirrors correctly
- Reverse car smoothly
- Watch out for other drivers
- Stop the car in a set position
- Drive smoothly on a set path
For Driving
Licence
If you are ready for your licence, we can make sure you are well-placed to pass. We’ll take you through some of the most difficult manoeuvres on the road, ensuring you are competent when it comes to:
- Driving unassisted
- Keeping up with traffic flow
- Understanding tram rules
- Doing hook turns
- Changing lanes on busy roads
- Parallel parking between 2 cars
- Judging traffic gaps
- Navigation skills
